Zerto Adds Oracle to its Growing List of Leading Public Cloud Partners
In exciting news for Zerto and our customers, we are announcing a new partnership with Oracle specific to Oracle Cloud VMware Solution – a dedicated, cloud-native VMware-based environment.
Earlier this year, when we launched Zerto 8.0 as part of our mission to deliver IT resilience everywhere, we talked about our strategy to deepen integrations with market-leading public cloud providers. We’re excited to add Oracle Cloud VMware Solution to a list that also includes AWS, Google Cloud, IBM Cloud, and Microsoft Azure as Zerto public cloud partners.
Through this partnership, enterprises on Oracle Cloud VMware Solution will have access to all the industry-leading benefits of Zerto’s IT Resilience Platform™–continuous data protection, best-in-class RPOs and RTOs for recoverability, data migration, and more.
In broader terms, the new Oracle solution allows enterprises to move VMware workloads to the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure with ease and without having to modify VMware-based applications. Users get the same experience with on-premises VMware, but as a cloud-delivered service, including full administrative control over their environment and native integration with Oracle’s second-generation cloud infrastructure. They’ll benefit from achieving the cloud integration they are looking for with increased control and flexibility .
Oracle Cloud VMware Solution is based on VMware Cloud Foundation and consists of a full stack software-defined data center (SDDC), including VMware vSphere, NSX, and vSAN, and a three-node compute cluster that can scale out to 64 nodes per cluster. It provides root access to vCenter and ESXi hosts enabling full administrative privileges to the entire environment, including the underlying infrastructure. This ensures customers have full control over their environment. Customers get access to more than 50 Oracle Cloud services that span compute, networking and storage to Containers, Kubernetes, and Digital Assistants that support application modernization and development.
Available in all 18 Oracle Public Cloud regions, Oracle Cloud VMware Solution will also be offered via Oracle Dedicated Region Cloud@Customer, the industry’s first fully managed cloud region that brings all of Oracle’s second-generation cloud services to customer datacenters.
