We had an amazing ZertoCON this year and hope you were able to join us. But if you missed us, or you didn’t get to see every session, or you just want to revisit a session, we’ve put together a microsite with information and replays about everything we covered.

Our experts went over the newest Zerto product innovationsofferings and the coming enhancements to our platform. ZertoCON 2021 was packed with announcements, launches, and news on

  • Zerto for Kubernetes
  • AWS CloudNative Disaster Recovery
  • Zerto Backup for SaaS
  • New platform updates
  • 2021 Zerto Partner Program award winners

Here’s a look back at each of these topics.

Zerto for Kubernetes

Microservices architecture is an ever-expanding part of cloud-based computing. Managing these environments can quickly become complex and expensive—which is why Zerto has extended the platform to Kubernetes, utilizing data protection as code to integrate backup and DR into the deployment lifecycle of containerized applications from day one.

Generally available nowZerto for Kubernetes (Z4K) is the only solution that’s purpose-built to provide continuous data protection-based backup and disaster recovery for containerized applications. Regardless of where your clusters are located, you can maximize your organization’s investment in the future and accelerate your Kubernetes application development while protecting your data from loss or downtime.

Visit our launch microsite to learn more about how Z4K supports Microsoft Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS), Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), IBM Cloud Kubernetes Service, and Red Hat OpenShift.

AWS CloudNative Disaster Recovery

You might ask, “Doesn’t Zerto work on AWS already?” Yes, it does, but as cloud-based technology is constantly changing and growing, Zerto is keeping pace. At ZertoCON we announced the beta of new Disaster Recovery solution for native AWS applications built for largescale deployments between regions and availability zones. Our unique journal-based disaster recovery solution works in concert with native AWS applications for Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (Amazon EC2)

In Beta, the AWS cloud native disaster recovery is simple to deployeasy to use and automates the orchestration of failover and failover testing within AWS regions and zones. Customers with production applications running in AWS like SAP or Oracle canow failover between AWS regions or zones and know that the application stays consistent and gets recovered as one entity. Visit our launch microsite for the details you need to know about AWS Cloud Native Disaster Recovery.

Zerto Backup for SaaS, Powered by KeepIt

With organizations moving quickly to the cloud and implementing SaaS applications such as Microsoft 365 or Salesforce, the challenge here is that the protection for the SaaS data falls on the customer—not the vendorYou, as the customer, are responsible for protecting users, data, and administration and must solve problems related to data protection from things like human errors, programmatic errors, malicious insiders, external hackers, and viruses or malwareLuckily, Zerto can help.

At ZertoCON, we launched an easy-to-use, scalable backup and recovery solution: Zerto Backup for SaaS, powered by KeepIt with support for Microsoft 365, Salesforce, Google Workspace and Microsoft Dynamics.
