I am excited to announce a major milestone for Zerto. This morning, HPE publicly announced its intent to acquire Zerto. We see this as a strategic development for the storage industry – and true recognition of the importance of our cloud data management and protection technology. But more importantly, a testament to all of the hard work and dedication of our Zerto employees since we started this journey in 2009. We could not have reached this goal without the support of our employees, customers, and partners. THANK YOU. We see this as a thrilling opportunity for our company and for HPE.

To our customers, partners, and managed service providers – please know that Zerto remains committed to its mission to provide leading cloud data management and protection that you know and trust today.

Zerto is joining HPE at an integral moment in time. HPE truly believes in developing and using technology to advance the way people live and work. This acquisition expands HPE GreenLake and accelerates HPE Storage’s transformation to a cloud-native software-defined data services business. It positions HPE to help customers protect their data for virtualized, cloud-native, and Kubernetes application workloads, recover rapidly to a state seconds prior to ransomware/cyber-attacks and other disruptions, and mobilize their applications and data across hybrid and multi-cloud environments.

As an innovative leader in enterprise storage, HPE helps Fortune 100 enterprises in all major industries power their mission-critical applications. HPE’s goal is to help customers shift from simply managing their storage to unlocking the power and insights of their data. Because of that, HPE started to  reimagine the experience and recently unveiled a new vision for Unified DataOps. Unified DataOps redefines the way organizations manage their data and infrastructure by eliminating silos and complexity while streamlining data operations across hybrid cloud environments.

This vision, together with HPE GreenLake, includes an expansive suite of cloud data services that automates and orchestrates data and infrastructure with the cloud experience where the data lives.

How Zerto Will Help Execute the Next Phase of HPE’S Unified DataOps Vision

With the explosive growth of data and ever-increasing ransomware threats, organizations need to modernize data protection from edge-to-cloud. Our industry-leading continuous data protection (CDP) technology provides disaster recovery (DR), and data mobility across hybrid and multi-cloud environments to enable the always-on digital organization.

This is only the beginning. Today’s news marks a significant milestone in HPE Storage’s transformation from being a leader in storage to become a leader in data management and protection through software-defined, cloud data services. As Zerto becomes part of HPE, we will have a greater reach to empower organizations with just one data platform needed to unlock their data to accelerate innovation, protect their data to safeguard against all threats and disruptions, and to mobilize data across clouds. By combining forces, we have the opportunity to grow more quickly and help more customers join our vision of uninterrupted technology.

We are excited about our future path and look forward to having you join us on our continued journey!
