Ziv Kedem is founder and Chief Executive Officer for Zerto. He leads the company’s corporate direction and vision. Previously, he co-founded Kashya Inc., now EMC RecoverPoint, where he served as Chief Technology Officer and developed the industry’s most widely used storage replication solution for disaster recovery. Prior to founding Kashya, Ziv co-founded a successful outsourcing business and served as a research scientist in an elite research unit of the Intelligence Corps for the IDF.
Oded Kedem is co-founder and Chief Architect for Zerto. He is responsible for the technical design and delivery of Zerto Virtual Replication and leading the vision for the evolution of the product. A seasoned storage industry veteran, Oded previously served as director of software development for EMC, where he managed the entire RecoverPoint (formerly Kashya) research and development organization. Prior to leadership roles at Kashya and EMC, Oded worked on algorithmic research at Expand Networks, specializing in networking and WAN optimization.
Gil Levonai is Chief Marketing Officer for Zerto. He spearheads marketing, supporting the corporate vision by leading the go-to-market strategy. With more than 20 years of experience in various technology management disciplines including marketing, product management, sales, business development and R&D, Gil most recently served as principal at Gil Levonai Strategic Marketing, a consulting firm specializing in high-tech marketing. He previously served as vice president of marketing and strategy at NextNine, a company providing service automation solutions to global enterprises.
Roy Golding brings to his role as CFO at Zerto more than 15 years of experience in senior financial management positions. Including M&A and Strategic Planning. Prior to joining Zerto, Roy served for 5 years as CFO of Telmap where Roy was responsible for the finance, legal and commercial activities for the Telmap worldwide group of companies. in November 2011 Roy helped lead Telmap through its acquisition process resulting in Intel Corp (Nasdaq: INTC) acquiring Telmap. From this date Telmap was a fully owned subsidiary, part of SSG (Software and Service Group), In March 2013 Roy was promoted to Co-president and led In April 2014 the sale of Telmap ,an Intel Company, to Telecommunication System Inc. (TCS). (Nasdaq: TSYS). Prior to Telmap , Roy was a Senior Manager at UHY advisors NY INC where he managed a portfolio of SEC registrant, hi- tech and multi-geographical companies.
Roy is a CPA and holds an LLM, Masters in Law, from Bar Ilan University and a B.A. In Business Administration from The College of Management Academic Studies.
Ed Carter is Chief Revenue Officer for Zerto. Leading Zerto’s global sales team, Ed is focused on acquiring new customers, growing Zerto’s existing accounts and building partner GTM capabilities to increase strategic partner revenue and deepen relationships with Zerto’s robust ecosystem of partners. Ed’s experience spans F200 companies to high-growth start-ups. Before joining Zerto, Ed was the was senior vice president of field operations for Sprinklr where he drove cross-functional GTM strategy for sales, pre-sales, enablement and success teams. Prior to Sprinklr, Ed was senior vice president of Americas sales for VCE, a division of Dell EMC, formed by Cisco, EMC and VMware, that became the global market leader in Converged / Hyper-converged Infrastructure Solutions, achieving the 3rd-fastest ever attainment of $1B in annual sales. While at VCE, Ed was instrumental in driving both operational excellence and sales productivity. Ed has also held sales leadership roles at IBM and Cognos where his teams consistently attained significant YoY growth.
Avi Raichel joined Zerto as CIO in 2017. Avi leads the company’s IT team tasked with ensuring that internal processes & systems continue to thrive alongside Zerto’s strong business growth. Before joining Zerto, Raichel spent 17 years at Amdocs where he rose from MIS team leader to vice president of information systems. He led a group of 350 IT professionals and brings expertise and a proven track record of initiating, planning and executing large scale technology led transformations that meet measurable business goals. Avi holds a B.Sc in Economics & Accounting from the Tel-Aviv University, and a CPA certificate from the State of Israel.
Liat Nachmani joined Zerto as VP HR in 2013, after serving as Apple Israel’s Human Resources Manager. Prior to Apple, Liat spent four years as Anobit’s HR Director, helping the company’s management team to build and retain human capital, up until the company’s acquisition by Apple. Prior to Anobit, Liat held various positions specializing in talent acquisition in the Israeli high tech industry. She held a Recruiting Manager role in Metalink (NASDAQ: MTLK), a Senior Project Manager role at Executive Search and leading HR roles in various start-up companies. Liat holds MA in Social Psychology from Bar Ilan University and BA in Behavioral Sciences from Ben Gurion University.
Rob Strechay is the Senior Vice President of Product for Zerto. Working with customers, partners, engineering and the rest of the Zerto executive team to ensure an innovative roadmap and delivery of quality software. Prior to joining Zerto, Rob was the Worldwide Director of Product Management and Marketing for Software-defined Storage, Hyper-converged and Manageability at Hewlett Packard Enterprise. In addition to HPE, Rob held executive and management roles at NetApp, Akorri (acq. By NetApp), and a global 200 financial services company, where Rob was Director for disaster recovery and storage services.
Shlomi brings to Zerto over 20 years of software development leadership positions, from different-sized organizations. Among others, Shlomi was the Director of R&D for Kodak’s Workflow division, specializing in Enterprise software for the Graphic Arts industry, as well as VP of R&D in Brightinfo, a Startup in the Online Marketing space. Shlomi has B.sc in Math & Computer Science from the Bar-Ilan university.
Coley Burke leads Zerto’s Americas sales efforts, focusing on growing existing and new customer account penetration within the region. Prior to joining Zerto, he spent more than ten years in key sales and business development roles at Dell EMC. Coley is a twenty-six-year sales veteran in the IT industry; having worked previously for EMC, Kashya, IBM, Quantum and Arrow Electronics with a background in storage and BCDR products and solutions.
Coley holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Siena College.
Fara joined Zerto in 2011 and today manages a team of internal and external resources responsible for PR, advertising, global conferences, online marketing, SEM, inbound lead-gen and the Zerto brand. Fara is also responsible for strategic planning, forecasting and budgeting for the wider marketing department. She has enjoyed a 20 year career in marketing with a number of Israeli start-ups, including Seeking Alpha and Delta Three, and for VC fund Gemini Israel Ventures. Ryan Vaupel is Vice President, WW Sales Strategy & Operations at Zerto. Ryan is a high-impact leader and strategic business partner who’s known for growing revenues, improving processes, and building high-performing sales teams. He has a unique ability and proven success designing and executing sales plans, exploiting growth opportunities, and creating best practices for customer engagement. Prior to joining Zerto in 2018, Ryan held positions with increasing responsibility at EMC, Juniper Networks, VCE, and Commvault. Ryan holds a BS in Computer Science from Indiana State University and an MBA from The University of Notre Dame.
Jim Ortbals is a seasoned channel leader with nearly 20 years of experience in the technology industry, including ten years combined in the channel at VMware and Cisco. His expertise lies in developing new routes to market, with strong skills in people development, partner development and partner-centric operational discipline. Prior to Zerto, Ortbals served as the Director of Commercial and Cloud Partner Sales at VMware, preceded by channel & sales leadership roles at VOSS Solutions, Allot Communications and Cisco. A Miami University graduate, Jim is based in Kansas City, MO.
