    • New vCenters and existing Zerto config

We are planning on creating 2 new vCenters (One each per main campus location). They will be migrating all the existing VMs/Server to these. Do I need to create two new ZVMs, one for each location, configure them and then add the VMs as they are migrated? I’m not sure what I need.

    • vcloud service providers

We are refreshing our underlying hardware. I think I read somewhere that best practice from VMware is to not mix allocation models inside clusters. We are looking at having a dedicated cluster for standby DRaaS only with Zerto and keeping it separate from the general vcloud client VMs. What does Zerto recommend, and is there […]

    • reporting how much cpu+mem is needed?

I opened a ticket and support said this isn’t possibe. We are a service provider and we need to identify roughly how much cpu+memory is protected across all VPG. I’m dumbfounded that this isn’t possible. Zerto has to know how much cpu+memory a protected VM is because it protects the entire VM and brings up […]

    • Zerto analytics

Is there anyway to setup a SPECIFIC email address to send alerts to? I don’t want all the alerts to go to my email address. I’m just the architect for our DRaaS. I have a support staff that should be these alerts. A specific email address I can enter would then pipe that to our […]

    • Zerto 7.5 U1 upgradeand ZVRAs timer glitch

I have upgraded Zerto from 7.0 U1 to 7.5 U1 and discovered strange timer glitch notification on every ZVRA (in Main DC and DR site) console: ie: [ 6008.881072] rc.local[439]: 2nd attempt: now =6008585 [ 6008.881572] rc.localp439]: Timer glitch: lastTimestampMs=6008585 now=6068586 As far as I am aware is not affecting replication but I want to […]

    • AMQP Upgrade

Hi. I have an environment with 11 ZVM servers all paired with each other and 11 vCenters all managed by vCloud Director I am just running an upgrade of Zerto but I am a little confused about AMQP.   The guide says it does not need to be upgraded for every upgraded instance of Zerto as […]

    • change VRA network switch

Dear support, is it possible to change the virtual switch for a VRA? In vCenter, you should not change VRAs, but over Zerto management console it´s only possible to set the virtual switch which should be uses for VRA during installation of the VRA. Once the VRA is setup and you want to edit it, […]

    • Specification of Zerto Replication

Hello. I need to check the specification of Zerto Repplication. Q1 About replication communication of protected VMs Am I correct in understanding that no communication occurs from vCenter and ZVM to the synchronization destination site? Q2 About the initial synchronization of protected VMs. Is it correct that the VRA reads the target vmdk file and […]
