    • Upgrade ESXi hosts from 4.1 to 5.5

Hello, we have a Zerto installation between our prod site (VMware Ent. 4.1) and a DR site (also VMware 4.1). Now we are planning to upgrade both infrastructure to version 5.5 of vmware, is it possible to perform the upgrade without losing actual protection? How ? Thanks in advance, Bruno

    • Unable to view Zerto UI using vCenter plug-in

Hi, I’ve changed the IP address of my DR ZVM server by following the KB 00000180 and it worked fine. However, I now can no longer access the Zerto UI via the vCenter plug-in. It says “page can’t be displayed, make sure the web address https://<old ZVM IP address>:9669 is correct”. Why is it not […]

    • Changing a VRA IP address

Hi, I’m running ZVR v4.0 Update6. If I need to change the IP addresses of my target site VRAs, can I edit each of them in the UI and simply change their IPs? If so, what impact, if any, will this cause on the status of the VPG syncs – will it trigger a complete […]

    • VRA helper placement

As part of normal operations, VRA helper instances are created by ZVR. I would like to be able to influence placement of the VRA helpers in a vCenter folder or resource pool, but nothing related to VRA helpers is in the install/admin documentation. What are the possibilities for “managing” VRA helpers? Best regards, John Segers

    • Exclude Volume from replication

Does anyone know if there is a way to exclude a single volume when replicating a VMware Guest? The reason for this is the disk i/o on this server is so high that the replication of the pre-seeded disk never completes. What we want to do is exclude the disk with the high i/o and […]

    • GUI view issues?

I am noticing that after editing a VPG’s recovery datastore and letting the process complete, if I navigate to the VPG view and go over to ‘protected vms’ I still see the original datastore. Is anyone else able to replicate this? Is this just a visual bug in the gui?

    • CD-ROM Drive removed

Hi all During the ‘Test Failover’ or ‘Live Failover’, I can see the CD-ROM Drive removed by Zerto. I know Zerto doesn’t support IDE Type Controller. Attachment will be helpful. This is normal operation of Zerto ? Thank you Hyun <h4></h4>

    • VMDK Preseeding deadline

Hi all, thank you all in advance for the time that you will give to my topic. We are investigating on the preseeding option in order to move some “fat” virtual machines. The article is clear about how it works and how to do it (http://www.zerto.com/myzerto/knowledge-base/copy-vmdk-disks-for-preseeding/) but my question is: for how many days cloned […]

    • Satellite offices replicating back to DR site

I have 3 branch offices, each running ESXi infrastructure, and one DR site also running vSphere. One of the branch offices is the “central branch” and has a vCenter server managing the ESXi hosts and VMs in all 3 branches. Can I deploy Zerto in such a way where there’s one ZVM at the DR […]

    • What is the "CloudLogo" in Zerto v4?

Hi, I’ve just successfully upgraded my protected and recovery sites from v3.5-U7 to v4-U3. In the new-look ZVM user interface, there’s a “CloudLogo” box in the top-left corner of the screen. What is this? Can I substitute it with my corporate logo? Is this what it’s for? Please see the attached screenshot
