Maybe this is a feature request. We have sole and manage Zerto for a number of clients and I love the program. I am curious if there is a goal of having a partner portal or something that I can login and see multiple zerto environments. I could log in as each but when I […]

ZVM protection without recovery site
in: General Discussion
When there are sites or hosts dedicated seperately for production and recovery there is no problem with keeping the ZVM safe, it resides on recovery site/host and in case of production failure it works as it always did. But what when we have ZVM in an environment where there are only two hosts and two […]

Changing my MTU?
in: General Discussion
Yesterday I upgraded from 5.0 U2 to 5.5. Everything went fine to the best of my knowledge. When I got into the office today I logged in to the console and had a bunch of Alerts, which then cleared themselves a few seconds later. I am sitting here watching the console and it seems like […]

AWS Zimporter version 5.5
in: AWS
Is there any documentation/ how to guides for selecting the new Import methods? Also Zerto states that recovery times are faster than the standard AWS API – do you have any test results/data you can share showing the decrease in time? Thanks, Rakesh

Clustered RDM's Replication to Azure
in: VMware
Helllo fello Zerto Admins, We recently acquired Zerto’s Replication software, for replicating our ESXi on premise hosted workloads, over to Azure for our DR implementation. Replicating protected VM’s over to Azure is pretty straightforward. Could you please share your ideas on how to handle protected VM’s on ESXi, which comprise a two node Microsoft SQL […]

is host to host migration supported (no vCenter)?
in: VMware
Will the Zerto 5.x tool support migration/backup from a standalone ESXi host to another ESXi host where both hosts are not in vCenter? If it is possible, where is it documented? When I setup the ZVM for VMware, it only allows connection to vCenter which seems to indicate that a standalone host to another standalone […]

Report on Unprotected VMs in the environment
in: General Discussion
I need to periodically review the VMs in our environment to determine that all the necessary VMs are being replicated/protected. Other than manually comparing a list of VMs in both the Zerto VPGs and the vCenter, how can one determine that there may be VMs that should be put under protection? It would be good […]

When/why to move to external SQL database?
in: General Discussion
Hello, We have a fairly large VMware infra with 5 vcenters and 5 ZVM’s all linked together running v5 update 1 all running embedded db’s. Our vCenters (5.5 and 6.0) manage 50 to 100 ESXi hosts and 1000 to 2000 VM’s. We currently have 300 VM’s protected by Zerto moving up to 500 in the […]
