    • Non available time in RPO report

In the Zerto Analytics RPO report we have zero RPO breaches with a max RPO of about 1 hour (we have a 2 hour SLA). However the report shows that Non available time is 13+ hours. Can someone please explain what is meant by this number and why it could be so high?

    • Microsoft VMM 2019 Support

Anyone integrate with VMM 2019 yet?  I can’t see it on the support matrix and we had rolled it out right before we bought Zerto.  Did 7.5 add support?  I was told that the SLA states 90 days until supported and VMM 2019 has been out for nearly six months.

    • Hyper-V to vCenter failover DNS settings

Hello everybody, We are running Zerto 7.5 update 4 on our environment, and we use to to replicate VM’s from a Hyper-V environment to vCenter. Since it’s a cross-hypervisor replication, we set Guest OS customization as on and also set manual networks and IP’s. However, NIC DNS settings are nowhere to be found on the […]

    • Difficulty seeding VPG on high perf infra and L2

I’ve dealt with seeding VPG’s to remote sites before but am finding issues with high change rate VM’s replicating from on vCenter to the other in same data center. VRA’s on on the same L2 network. Temp disk is enabled for tempdb. VRA’s are configured for 2vCPU/12GRAM. This is All flash vmax/pmax storage on UCS […]

    • Combination of vsphere replication and Zerto.

Hello I have a question about Zerto specification. Is it possible to use vsphere replication in the following order? I know that it is unable to protect VMs that using vsphere replication at the same time with Zerto. 1. Protect a VM with a VPG of Zerto. 2. Finalize initial sync of the Zerto. 3 […]

    • SQL server DB set to “simple mode” during upgrade

Hi, our database administrators have noticed that the SQL database for each Zerto Virtual Manager gets set to “simple mode” during an upgrade. They would like to know if Zerto intends for the database to stay in “simple mode,” or if it’s just set that way simply for the duration of the upgrade. I see […]

    • Upgrade VRAs manually or automatic?

We’re looking at upgrading from 6.5 to 7.0U3.  Our protected environment is ESXi 6.5 and the DR site is ESXi 6.7.  Both are running vSphere 6.5.  I see that during the upgrade you have the option of upgrading the VRAs either manually, after the ZVM upgrade, or automatically during the upgrade.  I was wondering which […]
