    • Linux ZVM and HA

I have been searching through the Zerto site and cannot find out anything regarding if there is an HA option for the ZVM running on the Linux platform.  We currently are running on Windows with MSCS.  Once I get confirmation that there is HA protection, I think this would be the trigger to switch platforms. […]

    • vTPM Support

Hi all, Does Zerto support the protection of VMs with vTPMs? We are looking at using vTPM for a VM that we protect with Zerto. I have checked the compatibility matrix, and I see no reference as to if Zerto supports vTPM. The compatibility matrix does mention that VM encryption is not supported, and vTPM […]

    • Secure Credentials for API

I am newer to this sort of work. At the moment, we’re manually doing failover tests and gathering info for reports. I’d like to automate this. Following along zerto’s documentation to establish a session from this article, I want to be able to use a securestring generated like: $credentials = get-credential $credentials.Password | ConvertFrom-SecureString | […]

    • Zerto reports incorrect volume sizes for RDM disks

Zerto is reporting incorrect volume sizes for the RDM. I am trying to setup a VPG for clustered VM with RDM running in VMware 7.0u3. There are multiple RDM volumes mapped to the VM, some of the volume sizes reported incorrectly by Zerto, and would not allow the mapping to the correctly sized replication target, […]

When I go to deploy zerto zca in Azure, it returns the error failed to create resource group. The permissions, which the managed identity has are: Owner, Storage Blob Data Contributor and Storage Queue Data Contributor in the subscription. And managed identity is assigned to Windows VM. This error only appears at the end of […]

    • Architecture Question / vCenter Location

We have a primary data center and a warm DR site. We already have Zerto in place using a vCenter and ZVM at each location. However, we need to add VMs from another cluster that’s being managed by a different vCenter. The hosts are located at the production site. The vCenter that’s managing them is […]

While loading the site in aws it throws an error stating “Vcenter credentials are no longer valid. reconfigure the Vcenter server connectivity in the management console”. • failover test network creation

Hi, we’re testing Zerto 9.7 in a vSphere 7.0.3 environment with two sites and we use dvSwitches. Looking for what people are doing to create a failover test network in VMware on a dvswitch , or another solution? Some of the examples online are old and only talk about std switches. Thanks G
