    • One to Many vms not showing virtualizationsites/vm

In the API, I’ve always used “virtualizationsites/{SITEIDENTIFIER}/vms” to find all of the VMs available to replicate.  Not sure when this occurred, but I noticed on 6.0u2 that this no longer retrieves VMs that would be considered One to Many.  If I pull them up in the web UI I can find the VM in the […]

    • Migrating Azure to VMware – 2K8R2 server issues

We have a customer that wishes to move out of Azure to one of our onsite premises. However after replicated, running a failover test we have discovered that all of their 2008R2 VMs will not boot. Server 2012 R2 VMs boot without issue. We did encounter the VMtools issue which we resolved by doing these […]

    • Multiple zMA's per vCenter or similar

We are migrating a number of systems to a new third party datacenter, they use Zerto and they have the ECE license. I understand the process that Zerto uses, VM and ZRA on same host, VRA connects to ZMA and ZMA sends replication traffic to third party Cloud Connector, this process we are happy with […]

Hello, I share a doubt about the journal history. If I have “Journal History: 1 day” Why does the “Earliest Recovery Point” tell me much more time? e.g. At the time of print it was: 2018/08/31 12:07hs Earliest Recovery Point: 2018/08/29 18:24 hs [/url] Anyone have any clue? Best regards.

    • Test failover issue.

Hello all. This is Hyun in KOREA. When I performed ‘Test Failover’  on Protected Site, there was an error occured on Recovery Site. Because of the error, vCenter didn’t power on that VM. Error message is below : <span style=”color: #000000;”>’ Cannot open the disk ‘/vmfs/volumes/53e8eef4-23bb8477-feb8-c81f66e86641/Z-VRA-10.32.4.170/895ad669-4ef5-469e-b8d7-0f90f6d00314/vm-1004/lchencdb01/lchencdb01_3.vmdk’ or one of the snapshot disks it depends on. • Replicating Windows 2003 VMs to Azure

Hi, does anybody now if it is possible (not necessary supported) to replicate VMWare VMs with Windows 2003 (32bit and 64bit) to Azure? As long as Windows 2003 is no longer supported generally the support Matrix from Zerto is difficult to interpret 😉 **** Zerto Virtual Replication supports replication of any virtual machine whose operating […]

In the next week we are going to be Migrating from Dell Servers using ESXi VSphere 5.5 Essentials Plus to Nutanix Nodes running VSphere 6.7 Essentials Plus. • Who creates the buckets in S3?

The S3 bucket is created during the ZCA installation by Zerto. We make sure that the bucket region is created in the same region as the ZCA instance region. There is one bucket per ZCA.

    • VPG Temp disk setting and datastore allocation?

We have a VM with over 10T of allocated storage. We do not need the data on two of the large disks in DR. Even with setting the disks to THIN and TEMP I cannot save the VPG because it wants a datastore over 10T in size. Why would it not accept thin provisioning and […]
