    • WINS config in vNIC??

I’m new to Zerto and am unfamiliar with the setup.  In looking at the vNIC I do not see a way to add WINS Server IP’s, where is this addressed?  We need to include this for all of our VM’s that we intend to use Zerto with.   Thank you, Mike

    • Zerto VPG VM resource report?

Is there a way to see how much resource a customer’s VMs will need prior to failover? I would like to know how many vCPU and Memory their VPG will require.  I currently can only see how much storage each VM requires.

    • Replication provider to provider

Hi, more than a customer asked us, as CSP using vCD 8.10, to connect and replicate on another vCD of another CSP to have provider’s redundancy. This is not the first request we had, and we don’t have a positive answer from Zerto to this problem. Has anybody in the community found a solution to […]

    • Zerto compatible with Simplivity

The only info I see regarding Zerto compatible with HPE Simplivity is from 2015, where it says it’s not.  Has this changed. If so, is there guidance on how the replication appliance is installed on a Simplivity Node and how does Zerto replication work with the dedup/compression of Simplivity?

    • 24 Limitation to Offsite Backup

Does anyone else have an issue with their offsite backup failing after 24 hours? I have been working with Support on backup failures for about a month and we finally got everything fix but the issue with VPGs that are over 600 GB fail because they take over 24 hours to backup. How is everyone […]

    • Find Orphan / disconnected VMDKs

Is there a method I can use to find VMDKs that are used by Zerto?  I found two orphaned VMDKs today accidentally and would love to be able to search my datastores and see if there are others that are not associated with a VPG.  I’ll do it manually if I have too I just […]

    • Using the VMware Update Manager with Zerto

We are currently trying to update our vSphere infrastructure using the vMware Update Manager. The typical behavior when we remediate the host or cluster should be that the host is send to maintenance mode and then patching should take place. But having Zertos vRAs running on the ESXi-hosts, seems to prevent the hosts from being able […]
