    • Hosts with Zerto BSOD after patching

Our production and recovery Hyper-V hosts running Zerto produce a BSOD (rvdddk.sys) after applying MS patches. I evacuate the VRA, pause the node, shutdown the VRA, then apply MS patches. Patches install and server reboots correctly. Yet after enabling node, VRA is powered on and recovery repository is added back, encounter a BSOD: IRQL error […]

    • Old Files

I have two non-clustered hosts that had been used at one time for replication storage. One one host there is now no reference to it for storage and the only thing running on it is a VRA. There are over 1 Tb of of old files still there. Per their filenames they were previously used […]

    • LTR and anti virus

I run LTR backups regularly. Recently a couple of the “.box” files were flagged by anti-virus and thus quarantined. This corrupts the LTR backup. I can exclude repository directories but need some kind of documentation stating anti-virus exclusion rules concerning LTR. Zerto? Anyone?

    • New nodes report no OS version

I am using Hyper-V. I added two nodes to an existing cluster. Cluster operates and reports correctly. SCVMM picked up on the new nodes and added them correctly. The nodes themselves and SCVMM all show the OS as 10.0.14393 (2016). I am unable to add VRA’s to the new nodes because Zerto shows the OS […]

    • Hyper-V test nic not available

I am replicating using Zerto and am unable to assign a test NIC for my failover testing. I have logical names assigned in SCVMM, they are not available in Zerto. I 1)edit the VPG, 2)go to edit default recovery settings, 3)go to the pull down for failover test network and only have one choice available. […]
