Renaming recovery datastore – will it break Zerto?

    Hello everyone.  We are running Zerto 5.5U2 in VMware 6.0 on 3PAR storage and have a question:

    Can you rename a datastore being used by Zerto without breaking anything? Does Zerto make use of the name explicitly or the datastore GUID?

    Wanted to see if this is a supported action since I couldn’t find it anywhere else in the documentation.

    Hi Paul, I’ve tested this on Zerto 5.5U2/VMware 6.0 with 3PAR storage and Zerto picks up the name change immediately with no intervention required.
