In our DR environment we receive constant alerts for Zerto target datastores filling up. Right now we need to check the VRA files, log into Zerto and edit the VPG to change the target datastore for the replicating VM. But this process is not straightforward, and Zerto wouldn’t balance the occupation on the datastores automatically. Storage Vmotion of VRAs and VRAHs would help us immensely here. So can we do it? Or it will break everything?
You can storage vmotion the VRA and VRAH without huring anything… be on the lookout for the phantom super large thin provision VRA and VRAHs. Objects appear larger in the Vsphere GUI.
