Does the “or incoming replication, copy the BIOS UUID of the protected VM to the recovered VM” setting work with existing VPGs, or only for new VPGs created after the setting was put in place? Does it work for test failovers, or just live failovers?
In general, the behavior of such a setting would depend on how it is implemented within the virtualization and disaster recovery solution. Some solutions may allow you to apply this setting to existing Virtual Protection Groups (VPGs), while others may only apply it to new VPGs created after the setting is enabled. Flappy Bird
