Zerto with Viptela

    Are there any best practices for using Zerto with Vipela/Cisco SD-WAN?

    I am seeing disconnects/reconnects from the Zerto Manager I am assuming because it is traversing different paths.

    While this is not causing any major issues I am just wondering if I should modify my configuration to be more resilient to the path changes.

    I’m Guy from Zerto Support.

    Unfortunately we do not have a best practices document aimed at SD-WAN setups.

    However, since you mentioned frequent disconnects in your ZVM – please consider opening a support ticket with support so this can be properly investigated.

    Good day Kevin, we are facing the same issue with our SD-WAN appliance as well with Zerto reporting disconnects.

    Zerto support keeps reporting it as a network issue, but no ping lost and no other services on our SD-WAN solution is reporting any issues with connectivity.

    We even dropped the MTU manually on all VRAs and VRMs nodes and still the same results.
