Zerto VM Migration

  • Hello team,

We are going to migrate VMs (from vSphere 6.7 with ESXi 6.0 to vSphere 6.7 with ESXi 6.7) for a client from source Datacenter to newly created target Datacenter.

Could you please confirm if there is any option to upgrade VMTools and VM Hardware version during migration through Zerto?

Which version of Zerto supports that?

    Thanks in advance.

    Regards,

    Swapan Sett

    Hello,

    Contara from Zerto Support.

Could you please confirm if there is any option to upgrade VMTools and VM Hardware version during migration through Zerto?

Zerto doesn’t have any tools or any options to upgrade the VMTools and VM Hardware version.  These all done on the Vmware side.

Which version of Zerto supports that?

The Zerto Interoperability Matrix will inform what Zerto supporting VM hardware version, vCenter server version, and ESXi version.
