Don’t know about same MAJOR versions, but whenever you do upgrades to your Zerto environment, the versions are slightly different as you roll through every site, and replication continues to function, so they don’t need to be exactly the same, at least not as long as it’s a minor version. Can’t speak for MAJOR releases. I have done upgrades to MAJOR releases but don’t remember how it went and if I waited for the replication to pickup again or just upgraded right after.
