We performed an actual failover and realized that after the failover with reverse protection and committing to the failover that full delta sync is done. Due to the size of the environment and bandwidth restrictions, this is unacceptable for us replicating IIS web servers, SQL Databases, and considering the size of the data. We need an alternative solution where we don’t compromise servers on perm servers. By any chance, can we perform a failover of production servers and replicate the data back on perm without doing delta sync? Any other scenarios to failover and get the data back on perm? As we are in the process of scheduling dr failover to verify the environment after weeks of doing test failovers to sign off.
