Zerto Cloud Manager View Only Permission

  • What we’ve done…

    1. Enabled Zerto Cloud Manager’s Role-based permissions.
    2. Created a Zerto Viewers group in Active Directory and added users.
    3. Assigned the Viewer role in ZCM to the Zerto Viewers AD group.

    The issue we have is that when users in the Zerto Viewers group try to login to ZCM they receive an error:

    “Provide Administrator credentials”

    To get around this error I can add the Zerto Viewers AD group to the local Administrators group on the ZCM server.

    But, this appears to give them full access to ZCM instead of Viewer access.

    I know I’m missing something simple here…what is it?
