When deploying 7.0 from market place it is requiring an empty or new resource group. I need to deploy to an already existing resource group that is not empty.

Why is this a requirement and how do I get around it?

The new RG is a requirement of the Marketplace template, but not of the product. There was some confusion around this, so I have recently written this KB with more info:
