VPGs replication to ZCA will randomly disconnect

  • All the VPGs replicating to one of my ZCAs will randomly disconnect.  The ZCA is still pingable and all the services are running.  Would like to know why this happens.  I am running version 7.5 update 3.

    Hello Diane,

    Contara from Zerto Support.

If you be able to ping between 2 ZCA servers, also make sure to do a telnet session port 9081 between ZCA servers.

    ZCA2 – IP address:

    From ZCA1 – Telnet 9081

    From ZCA2 – Telnet 9081.

If the Telnet and Ping are successful, please open a new support case S2 or S3.  Collect log files:

In regards to the log gathering, please follow the next steps:

    1. Log to the recovery ZVM machine.
    2. Run Zerto Diagnostics
    3. Select the first option and click next
    4. Follow the steps and in every step select the parameters according to the following:
    Case number:######
