VMWare ESXi 6.7 update

    Posting on behalf of Tetsuo Hosokawa:

     

    We want to update the ESX installation to 6.7. We want to know what steps need to take place in the primary site and the backup site. What do we need to do with Zerto so it will still work after the upgrade.
    Are there any processors and chipsets incompatible with the 6.7 update?

    Hi Tetsuo,

    Regarding compatibility between versions of ESX and ZVR, I recommend you review the Interoperability Matrix (by clicking the link).

    For the sake of simplicity, I’ve also uploaded the relevant part of the above, to the following link: https://www.screencast.com/t/PJePZ2Uy.

    If there is a ‘V’ between the version of ESX and Zerto in the matrix – the two will be compatible ‘out of the box’ (no further steps necessary on your part)

    If there is an ‘X’ – the versions are incompatible.
