I’ve got a VM in a VPG that’s alerting with the following “The journal for VM XYZ in VPG 1234 has exceeded 15 percent of the protected VM volumes size”
Looking at Zerto Analytics the used journal size for this VM is 100GB or 23% of the VM’s volumes .
The VPG is configured with the following limits:
Journal Size Hard Limit – 150GB
Journal Size Warning Threshold – 112.5GB
The VM has specific settings applied to override the VPG settings, with the following:
Journal Hard Limit – 85%
Scratch Journal Hard Limit – 85%
With the above said, I’m struggling to see why the warning is being raised. Correct the journal has exceeded 15%, however I’m failing to see where that alert is defined. Am I missing something here?
