Update VPG settings not applied on AWS

  • Hello,

    I noticed when updating some of the VPG settings (e.g.: Security Group), although on Zerto it states the change has been made, when I run a failover test, the new security group is not applied; I do still have the old one.

    Why is that happening?
    I might understand I cannot change subnet (although it is quite strange given the EC2 instance is not started yet), but I should be able to make those updates without having to re-create the VPG from scratch.

    Is it possible you are trying to edit the VPG default settings which are applied only to newly added VMs?

    Have you tried to change the subnet and security group on a per VM level under the advanced VM Settings Dialog? (See Attached)
