  • I want to setup a test failover on a lab server and understand how to verify remote site has replicated an sw upgrade. need testing proceedure

    Hi,

    You can choose Failover Test (FOT) or Offsite Clone for your testing, depending on how long the testing period will be.

    If the testing will be just one hour or two, you can run an FOTĀ  and rollback after the testing.

    This also means that the testing doesn’t require the test VM has its own disks actually created on the recovery site.

    If the testing will take hours or even days, and also an independent VM is needed, please consider the Offsite Clone option.
