Server 2016 Storage Spaces Direct Compatibility

    Working on upgrading customer ZVM/Zerto environment to 6.5U4.

    Upon talking to customer, they were under the impression that Server 2016 Storage Spaces Direct was incompatible with Zerto.

    As far as I can tell by the compatibility matrix, no reference of Storage Spaces Direct or S2D is referenced, so I’d assume it’s compatible?

    Hello,

    Mike from Zerto here. There is no problem using Storage Spaces Direct with Zerto for ongoing replication and Zerto operations (failover, move etc).

    However, the file level restore feature will not work.
