Replicating from ESX 6.5 to 5.5

    Will Zerto support replicating from ESX 6.5 to 5.5?  The VMs on 6.5 are at HW v09 and will remain there.

    Zerto does not replicate the virtual hardware version. We create a new vms file with the default hardware version upon failover.

     

    short answer: yes it will work just fine.
