Trying to remove a VM from a VPG (part of a decommission workflow) with out preserving the target disk.
Using the API we are able to remove the VM with no issues it however does not remove the target Volume. How can this be completed?
Sorry if I wasnt clear I am looking for a way to do this using the restful API

Did you ever find a solution for this issue? I currently try to automate the VPGs to be filled with VM Tags.
If a VM is removed, it gets removed from VPG but the VMDK rest on target side and use space forever…
