How do you resolve disk space discrepancies?

  • Zerto/vSphere is reporting one of my volumes as full and therefore cannot write to journal disk.  However, my array (HPE Nimble) reports that there is free space.  I understand that this is at least partially due to the array compression but vSphere doesn’t account for that.  It just sees a full volume.  This is happening at my recovery site.  How do you resolve this?

    This looks like a HPE Nimble <-> vSphere reporting/communicating issue. Looks like your vSphere is not aware of your storage free space. I would speak either to VMware or HPE to resolve this.
