Host' VRA is not accessible

  • I have a host connected to a SAN which restarted due to a power outage. Apparently the host rebooted before being able to connect to the protected volume in the SAN which has caused the VRA to become inaccessible and therefore can not replicate to the contingency site.

    What would be the best options to solve this case? One of them would, of course, be to reboot the host and wait for the VRA to become accessible again. But I suppose there should be some other feasible option in case that rebooting the host is not an option.

    Have you tried the change Recovery VRA option?
    It helps in situations where you need to change recovery from one host to another in the event of losing one due to, say, a power outage.
