Phil Goodwin

Phil Goodwin is a Research Director within IDC’s Storage Systems and Software research practice. He provides insight and analysis on evolving industry trends, vendor performance, and the impact of new technology. Mr. Goodwin is responsible for producing and delivering timely, in-depth market research focused on Data Protection, Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery, and Data Availability. He takes a holistic view of these markets, with research covering risk analysis, service level requirements and cost/benefit calculations.

Ziv Kedem

Ziv Kedem is founder and Chief Executive Officer for Zerto. He leads the company’s corporate direction and vision. Previously, he co-founded Kashya Inc., now EMC RecoverPoint, where he served as Chief Technology Officer and developed the industry’s most widely used storage replication solution for disaster recovery. Prior to founding Kashya, Ziv co-founded a successful outsourcing business and served as a research scientist in an elite research unit of the Intelligence Corps for the IDF.

Rob Strechay

Rob Strechay is the Senior Vice President of Product for Zerto. Working with customers, partners, engineering and the rest of the Zerto executive team to ensure an innovative roadmap and delivery of quality software. Prior to joining Zerto, Rob was the Worldwide Director of Product Management and Marketing for Software-defined Storage, Hyper-converged and Manageability at Hewlett Packard Enterprise. In addition to HPE, Rob held executive and management roles at NetApp, Akorri (acq. By NetApp), and a global 200 financial services company, where Rob was Director for disaster recovery and storage services.

Robert Wilcox

Robert Wilcox is the lead architect within HPE Complete Engineering. With a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Washington State University, Robert has 12 years of experience testing MSA, XP, and 3PAR storage products within HPE. Robert’s current responsibilities include the definition, qualification, and support of HPE Complete solutions. Along with this, he focuses on integrating HPE Complete solutions with public cloud offerings and the HPE ecosystem.

Tom Gillispie

Tom Gillispie, Director of Application Interop & Product Management at ExaGrid, has over 30 years in software engineering and management in the data protection, storage, storage management and networking arenas. Tom has been with ExaGrid for 11 years, where he specializes in leading storage software projects and teams, as well as providing technical briefings for customers and strategic partners. Prior to joining ExaGrid, Tom worked at Revivio and Sun Microsystems where he managed the engineering teams. Tom holds a BSEE from Carnegie Mellon University. When not working, Tom enjoys boating, home automation projects, and restoring pinball machines.

Chris Patterson

Leveraging his technical background and consulting skills, Chris Patterson was a key player in building Navisite’s cloud computing platform, NaviCloud, from the ground up and is responsible for overseeing its continual upgrades and improvement making sure it meets clients evolving needs from both a technical and business perspective. In addition, he oversees the development and implementation teams for Navisite’s Desktop-as-a-Service and NaviCloud Intelligent Storage solutions. Prior to joining Navisite, Patterson spent nine years at MTM technologies as the Director of Information Security Services, where he gained extensive experience developing and consulting on security policies in a variety of different industries including financial, retail, legal, health care, and public sector. Chris holds a Bachelors of Science in nuclear engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and currently lives in Delaware.

Tom Fahey

Tom has a passion for Disaster Recovery, with over twenty-five years’ experience in the technology service industry, and a diverse datacenter background, working Public Safety, experiencing hurricanes, and tornadoes. He has extensive technical experience in virtualization, storage, open systems technologies, high-speed low latency transaction solutions, system consolidation across multiple operating systems (Linux, Windows), and high-availability disaster recovery designs. Tom is also a Zerto Advisory Board member.

Jason Carolan

Jason leads a team focused on defining, assessing and providing direction on the changing technology landscape of Flexential’s business and customers. He has over 25 years’ leadership experience in product architecture, software engineering, and technical sales and support, including at Sun Microsystems, where he was honored as a Distinguished Engineer. His book “Building N1 Grid Solutions,” was one of the first books about combined use of virtualization and automation.

Omar Torres

Omar Torres is a Senior Product Manager for DRaaS at iland Cloud. With over 20-years of industry experience in data center technologies, specifically service provider space, he brings a unique blend of focus and insight to drive the ongoing development and innovation behind iland’s industry-leading cloud platform. Omar’s experience with the growing adoption of public/hybrid cloud services, launching several DRaaS/BaaS platforms in the SI/VAR space and overall data protection best practices positions Omar as a thought leader in the DRaaS space. He also held a 4-year seat on VMware’s Partner Technical Advisory Board during 2009-2012.

Gil Levonai

Gil Levonai is Chief Marketing Officer for Zerto. He spearheads marketing, supporting the corporate vision by leading the go-to-market strategy. With more than 20 years of experience in various technology management disciplines including marketing, product management, sales, business development and R&D, Gil most recently served as principal at Gil Levonai Strategic Marketing, a consulting firm specializing in high-tech marketing. He previously served as vice president of marketing and strategy at NextNine, a company providing service automation solutions to global enterprises.

Oded Kedem

Oded Kedem is co-founder and Chief Architect for Zerto. He is responsible for the technical design and delivery of Zerto Virtual Replication and leading the vision for the evolution of the product. A seasoned storage industry veteran, Oded previously served as director of software development for EMC, where he managed the entire RecoverPoint (formerly Kashya) research and development organization. Prior to leadership roles at Kashya and EMC, Oded worked on algorithmic research at Expand Networks, specializing in networking and WAN optimization.

Gijsbert Janssen Van Doorn

Gijsbert Janssen van Doorn is a Technology Evangelist at Zerto with a focus on helping customers understand and adopt IT resilience. Before taking on the role as Technology Evangelist he spent 3 years working in the field as a Zerto Systems Engineer. Prior to Zerto, Gijsbert was a Sales Engineer at Nexenta Systems supporting the sales of Software Defined Storage. Gijsbert has over 15 years of experience in IT and has been involved in designing and implementing large IT infrastructures at both enterprises and large cloud service providers.

In this millennia Lee has lead Product Management in a number of successful enterprise software startups in the Boston Area. Just before coming to Zerto he headed up the post-acquisition integration of Simplivity HyperConverged products into HPE. Outside of work he spends as much time as possible with his family in the Finger Lakes Region of Upstate New York.

Steve Blow

Steve Blow is a Technology Evangelist at Zerto. Among other things, he is responsible for both helping customers succeed in their digital transformation journeys using Zerto’s IT Resilience Platform. Steve has a particular interest in automation, particularly all things API. Prior, steve was responsible for helping customers to identify the technical requirements for their business and overcome technology challenges, and managing the technical onboarding globally for Zerto within IBM Resiliency Services. Steve has over 14 years of industry experience in IT solutions architecture, design, engineering and support.
