Ziv Kedem | CEO and Co-Founder | Zerto

Ziv Kedem is founder and Chief Executive Officer for Zerto. He leads the company’s corporate direction and vision. Previously, he co-founded Kashya Inc., now EMC RecoverPoint, where he served as Chief Technology Officer and developed the industry’s most widely used storage replication solution for disaster recovery. Prior to founding Kashya, Ziv co-founded a successful outsourcing business and served as a research scientist in an elite research unit of the Intelligence Corps for the IDF.

Oded Kedem | Chief Architect and Co-Founder | Zerto

Oded Kedem is co-founder and Chief Architect for Zerto. He is responsible for the technical design and delivery of Zerto IT Resilience Platform and leading the vision for the evolution of the product. A seasoned storage industry veteran, Oded previously served as director of software development for EMC, where he managed the entire RecoverPoint (formerly Kashya) research and development organization. Prior to leadership roles at Kashya and EMC, Oded worked on algorithmic research at Expand Networks, specializing in networking and WAN optimization.

Gil Levonai | CMO and SVP Product | Zerto

Gil Levonai is Chief Marketing Officer for Zerto. He spearheads marketing, supporting the corporate vision by leading the go-to-market strategy. With more than 20 years of experience in various technology management disciplines including marketing, product management, sales, business development and R&D, Gil most recently served as principal at Gil Levonai Strategic Marketing, a consulting firm specializing in high-tech marketing. He previously served as vice president of marketing and strategy at NextNine, a company providing service automation solutions to global enterprises.

Deepak Verma | Director, Product Strategy | Zerto

Deepak Verma is Director of Product Strategy at Zerto. He has 20 years of experience in the IT industry with a focus on disaster recovery and data protection. He has lead product management teams responsible for building and delivering products for cloud platforms at multiple companies. He has also architected, deployed and managed technologies for data protection and disaster recovery in various industry verticals during previous roles. Deepak holds a Master of Computer Science in Data Science and a Bachelor of Engineering. He is certified in AWS, Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud.

Before taking on the role as Director of Technical Marketing he spent 5 years working in the field as a Technology evangelist and a Systems Engineer. Prior to Zerto, Gijsbert was a Sales Engineer at Nexenta Systems supporting the sales of Software Defined Storage. Gijsbert has over 20 years of experience in IT infrastructure and has been involved in designing and implementing large IT infrastructures at both enterprises and large managed service providers.

Prior to Zerto, Walter spent over 15 years working in various roles within the IT space, from desktop support, to IT Manager, as well as, as a small business owner of an MSP and has been involved in supporting both SMB and large IT infrastructures.

Chris Tsilipounidakis | Enterprise Sales Engineer | Zerto

Chris has been instrumental in the success of some of the industry’s most key companies over the past 15 years in IT. Chris’ background includes Sun Microsystems, EMC, Dell/Compellent and Tegile. He’s held various roles in technical marketing, sales engineering, product marketing and evangelism. At Zerto, Chris’ primary focus is to provide technical pre-sales to enterprise accounts. Chris received his BS in Management Information Systems (MIS) at San Jose State University.

Hi, I’m Hetal Patel. I’ve worked in the IT industry well over 23 years since well before Y2K back in the days of floppy disks. As many of you, I started in IT Operations as a consultant. I specialized in Storage, Servers, Backups, and Data Center Migrations.
I’ve been a Zerto user for the past 5 years, first as a customer for 3 years then joining Zerto in sales organization. I’m currently a solution engineer with the Chicago sales team. Erwin Visser | Senior Director, Azure Partner Channel | Microsoft

Erwin Visser is Sr. Director in the US Azure team, leading the Azure partner strategy and marketing, as well as Azure new business for the US market. Key focus area for Erwin is to empower Microsoft partners in the US to digitally transform their customers with Cloud solutions and services. Prior to his current role, Erwin Visser was the General Manager for Enterprise & Industry Marketing, responsible for leading the marketing strategy for the enterprise segment across commercial and public-sector customers worldwide. Before that, Erwin Visser was responsible for the worldwide commercial strategy and marketing of Windows, including the Windows client operating system as well as Windows Phone devices. In 2006, Visser transitioned to Microsoft Corporate in Redmond from Microsoft BV in the Netherlands, where he led the Microsoft subsidiary marketing organization as a member of the Dutch leadership team. Prior to this role, Visser worked in different sales, marketing and technical pre-sales roles at Microsoft.

Jayme Williams | Senior Systems Engineer | Tencate

Responsible for datacenter infrastructure, storage, applications hosted on-premises and Office 365.
As a Senior System Engineer for Tencate, Jayme was given a company mandate to move from on-premises to cloud providers and looked to Zerto to help with that transition. At Tencate, he’s currently running production workloads in AWS such as ADFS, WSUS, exchange footprint for hybrid O365, AD sync for O365. His future plans are to move VMs to Microsoft Azure. Jayme’s also an 8-year veteran of the US Marine Corps.

Marian Lakov | Principal Architect for Information Technology | United

As an Enterprise Architect for Platforms and Converged Infrastructure at United Airlines Marian’s responsibilities include the architecture and design of UA datacenters with respect to open systems hardware, server management, automation, virtualization, storage and backup systems. His primary focus is on defining and executing United’s IT strategy and standards across multiple domains and to improve the performance and reliability of the IT infrastructure. According to Marian’s colleagues, “his tenacity for detail is second only to his strong technical expertise.”
