Zerto Wins UK Cloud Awards 2015 Business Continuity Product of the Year
Leading Cloud Computing and IT Pros Choose Zerto Virtual Replication for Ease of Use and Multi-Site Disaster Recovery Management
London, England — April 14, 2015 — Zerto, setting the standard for protection, recovery and migration of data in cloud and virtualised data centers, has won the UK Cloud Awards 2015 “Business Continuity Product of the Year”. The Cloud Industry Forum (CIF) and Cloud Pro announced the winners at a ceremony in London’s Canary Wharf to recognize the best Cloud providers, products and projects from the past year. A panel of leading experts from the UK’s Cloud industry received hundreds of submissions of which just 16 were selected including Zerto.
Zerto Virtual Replication 3.5 was recognised for its ability to offer a single interface for management, orchestration, reporting and monitoring of BC/DR operations across multiple sites for cloud service providers (CSPs) and enterprises. Zerto’s software is built as a full multi-tenancy and multi-site platform with billing, resource allocation and infrastructure abstraction to meet the needs of larger enterprises and service providers. This award is the most recent in a growing list of accolades including Best of VMWorld, Storage Magazine Product of the Year, and CRN’s Emerging Vendors.
Peter Godden, VP of EMEA for Zerto
“We would like to thank the judges for their consideration and also like to acknowledge our co-finalist DataBarracks who as a Zerto technology partner deploy our technology as part of their MSP based disaster recovery service. We would also like to thank clients including Kingfisher plc, for providing us with testimonials for use in our winning entry, which adds to the growing list of accolades Zerto continues to acquire.”
Alex Hilton, CEO of the Cloud Industry Forum
“We first established the UK Cloud Awards last year with the aim of recognising and celebrating excellence within the UK Cloud industry. The standard of the entries, and ultimate winners, speaks volumes about tech success and innovation in the UK, and serves as a reminder of the dynamic and forward-looking industry we have in this country. I’d like to thank all those that took part in this year’s awards and to offer my congratulations to the ultimate winners.”
Paul Franklin, Publisher at Cloud Pro and IT Pro
“A lot of hard work went into organising the UK Cloud Awards 2015, and we’re hugely thankful to our sponsors, HP Helion, Microsoft and Ingram Micro Cloud. We received an extremely high level of interest in this year’s awards and it’s fair to say that we have earned a place in the tech industry’s award calendar. We fully intend to bring the UK Cloud Awards back for 2016, so watch this space.”
