Zerto Opens New Shanghai Support Centre to Enhance Global BC/DR and Hybrid Cloud Capabilities
Growing Base of APJ and Global Customers Can Increase Enterprise IT Resilience with Multi-lingual, 24×7 Support
CHINA-Beijing, 8 June 2017 – Zerto, an award-winning provider of enterprise IT resilience cloud solutions, today announced the opening of new support centre in Shanghai, China, to provide 24×7 support to its customers in Asia Pacific and Japan (APJ) and around the globe.
Zerto’s technology ensures that enterprises and their customers have access to applications without IT interruption, downtime or delay. The Zerto Virtual Replication Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery platform (ZVR) is multi-hypervisor and public cloud capable, protecting applications in the cloud, to the cloud and on premise. Zerto’s solutions are backed by global support centers that allow on-demand access to an expert team of support engineers who provide support to global customers on a 24/7/365 basis.
More than 5,000 companies are currently using ZVR in their production environments to protect, restore and migrate data and critical applications, and more than 1,700 partners are offering services based on ZVR.
“The increasing number of customers in APJ and around the world is placing a higher demand on our support services,” said Ziv Kedem, founder and Chief Executive Officer for Zerto. “The establishment of the Shanghai support center will take our service capabilities to a new level.”
The new support center, located in the Chinese business hub of Shanghai, is the third global support facility established by Zerto. It mirrors similar ones established in Boston, Massachusetts, USA, and Herzliya in Israel and adds a third strategic time zone to the global support teams’ capabilities.
The Shanghai support center will provide support in four languages – English, Mandarin, Korean, and Japanese – and will serve customers not only in the fast developing APJ region but also global customers. The three support offices will work on a rotation basis to make sure global customers have access to professional Zerto engineers anytime anywhere.
According to China Industry Information Network (www.chyxx.com), a research institute that runs under the National Bureau of Statics of the PRC, China’s cloud disaster recovery market will reach US$1 billion by 2022. Research by Markets and Markets (www.marketsandmarkets) expect the cloud disaster recovery market to reach US$12 billion globally by 2020/21.
“Enterprises across the APJ region need to keep their business and cloud IT running 24/7, which requires a high level of reliability and absolutely no down-time,” said Andrew Martin, Director APJ for Zerto. “The new Shanghai support center addresses the needs of our customers with more customized services such as local language support.”
Zerto’s award-winning solution provides enterprises with continuous data replication and recovery solutions designed for virtualized infrastructure and cloud technologies.
