Unable to protect a VM- VMDK size is not a whole number of KBs

Root Cause

Due to Zerto technical limitation, you can only create mirror volumes with a whole (integer) number of KBs.

Symptoms

Unable to protect a VM. An alert is triggered: Vritual machines include disks that cannot be protected to a vSphere Recovery site. To protect the VMs, the problematic disks must either be removed from the VMs or reconfigured to be a whole number of KBs.

Solution

Please re-size the VMDK to a round number of KBs and protect the VM.
