Problem with a Datastore is Grayed Out when Creating/Editing a VPG
Viewed 7 times
Summary
An administrator may notice a datastore to select for recovery purposes is actually grayed out and cannot be selected.
Root Cause
There are a few reasons why a datastore is grayed out in the VPG Configuration:
The datastore is not presented to the associated Recovery Host for the VPG.
The datastore is full.
The datastore was full, expanded, but never rescanned on the host level so reflection is not updated back to Zerto.
Symptoms
When creating/editing a VPG, a datastore might be grayed out and show as "not accessible".
Solution
To workaround this issue, kindly follow the steps below:
Ensure that the datastore is exposed to the associated recovery host(s) in the Recovery Site.
Rescan Datastore via this VMware KB.
Reconfigure the ZVMs via Diagnostic Utility option.
If the issue persists, kindly contact Zerto Support.
