Problem After Reconfigure of AWS ZCA Running 8.0 where VPGs Stop Replicating

Viewed 539 times

Summary

After a successful reconfigure of an AWS ZCA running 8.0 code, an administrator may notice RPO will keep climbing on all AWS VPGs replicating to/from said ZCA.

Root Cause

This is a regression of an older issue resolved initially in 6.0 Update 1.

Symptoms

After a successful reconfigure of an AWS ZCA running 8.0 code, RPO will keep climbing on all AWS VPGs replicating to/from said ZCA.

Additionally, in Site Settings on the ZCA GUI, the Bucket ID has seemingly changed. After further review, it is noticed that this new Bucket was created as part of the reconfigure.

Solution

A permanent fix was included in the release of code version 8.0 Update 1. Upgrading to this version will avoid further occurrences of the issue.

In case the issue is being experienced on the affected code version of 8.0, kindly engage Zerto Support for further assistance to provide relief.
