How to Upgrade the VMware Hardware Version on a VRA-H

Viewed 91 times

Summary

An administrator may cite security concerns based on the following VMware content and wish to upgrade VRA-H machines:

Steps

At this time, there is no option to upgrade the VMware hardware version of a Z-VRAH.

However, starting in Zerto version 8.0, Zerto will spin up VRA-H machines with the latest VMware Hardware Version possible based on the ESXi host version running. Therefore, it is recommended to upgrade Zerto to at least 8.0 and VCenter/ESXi to a version that supports Hardware versions higher than 7.
