How to Adjust Scale Set Worker Log Retention in an Azure Site

Viewed 165 times

Summary

In Azure, when a worker VM is launched via the scale set, it boots without a public IP (for security reasons). Each running worker is writing its own logs locally and we cannot access the workers remotely to get the logs. Therefore a log uploader server was created to upload the logs from the VM to the "promotionlogs" folder. A folder in the Blob containers shows a folder for "promotionlogs" and this may bring about questions from an administrator or a need to finetune the retention policy.

Steps

To update the log retention of the scale set workers' logs, kindly engage Zerto Support for further assistance.
