    • ZVM Migration from Server 2008 R2 to Server 2016

Hello All, We are currently running Zerto v6.5 U3 on Server 2008 R2 machines, managing replication between two VMware v6.5 datacenters.   What I would like to know is what would be the migration path (and any gotchas) to move our ZVMs to new Server 2016 machines.  I’ll hit up support as well, but wondered […]

    • Migrate Windows vCenter v5.5 to v6.5 vCSA

As Mike T pointed out in his post : VMware has a supported migration path from a Windows vCenter Server v5.5 to the v6.5 vCenter Server Appliance (link) . We are currently running Zerto 3.5U7 on vSphere ESXi 5.5.  I have been holding off on upgrading as we wanted to do some significant testing first before rocking the boat with upgrades. So here’s my question(s) – […]

    • Internet Circuit Failover

We all know that our primary circuits *never* go down, but when they do, it behooves us to have a backup circuit ready to fail over.  Over our primary internet circuits between HQ & DR, we will have 100Mbps dedicated to replication traffic.  However, our backup circuits are 4gLTE on cradlepoint routers and we may […]

    • Migrating DR Environment

We will be migrating our DR environment this coming weekend.  Currently DR has been living about 2 feet away from production to seed and test for the last several months. We will be fork-lifting that to our DR site starting Saturday – stay tuned for updates!
