    • Using Zerto during move to new location

Hello – We are going to be moving everything in one location (rented rack in a colo) to another location (also a rented rack in a colo). We are literally moving all of the equipment to another physical site and bringing everything back up the same way it was in the previous site. I am […]

    • ZVM SQL Server reboots, windows patches.

Have been looking for what if anything we need to do for Zerto when we windows patch and or reboot the SQL server hosting the ZVM DB.   Do we need to stop the ZVM service first, or does it handle it ok.  Would be nice to see some documentation.

    • Microsoft Exchange Server 2016 Protection

Could anyone please help me to understand below questions related to Exchange server protection through Zerto? 1. Microsoft Exchange DAG replication provides powerful realtime replication. Is Zerto provides better protection than DAG? What is the benefit of using Zerto for exchange over DAG replication? 2. Since the exchange DAGs provide services by AD site, changing […]

    • Local user(s) for ZVM

I’m trying to figure out how ZVM web ui authentication works. As I understand it, it is integrated with the permissions/authentication for the vCenter the ZVM is attached to, but I figured there has to be a non-AD and/or non-vCenter login that can be used. I’m having some trouble finding what I’m looking for in […]

    • WINS config in vNIC??

I’m new to Zerto and am unfamiliar with the setup.  In looking at the vNIC I do not see a way to add WINS Server IP’s, where is this addressed?  We need to include this for all of our VM’s that we intend to use Zerto with.   Thank you, Mike

    • Zerto VPG VM resource report?

Is there a way to see how much resource a customer’s VMs will need prior to failover? I would like to know how many vCPU and Memory their VPG will require.  I currently can only see how much storage each VM requires.

    • Zerto compatible with Simplivity

The only info I see regarding Zerto compatible with HPE Simplivity is from 2015, where it says it’s not.  Has this changed. If so, is there guidance on how the replication appliance is installed on a Simplivity Node and how does Zerto replication work with the dedup/compression of Simplivity?

    • Journal history question

I am having an issue with 2 VM’s that mention that the Journal history SLA cannot be met because the Journal size is not large enough. If I decide to lower the Journal History setting to several hours will I still be able to failover in the following scenario? The production environment is lost for […]

    • DNS Update After Failover

Hi, When we failover between sites, we update the IP address of the machines. It’s all working very well. However, some remote sites take some time to update DNS with the new addresses. What do others do around this issue?   Thanks, Ciarán
