Zerto Recognized for the First Time in the 2021 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Enterprise Backup and Recovery

Est. Reading Time: 2 minutes

To say we’re excited that we were named as a Niche Player and positioned high in the Niche Quadrant of the Gartner Enterprise Backup and Recovery Software Solutions Magic Quadrant, would be an understatement. In our first-time recognition, we’re very proud that we’re in the top right of the Niche category.

However, this is only one chapter in the story of our progress. Having received an Honorable Mention last year, arriving in the top right of the Niche category we feel, demonstrates significant forward progress, particularly as a new entrant to the market. This acknowledges the significant progress we have made as a Niche Player.

Why is this important? Not only is this our first entrance, but it builds on the news that we won the Customers’ Choice recognition for Data Center Backup and Recovery earlier this year. We’re excited for not only the industry recognition, but this continues to acknowledge what our thousands of global customers have said for some time now – they believe and trust us to protect their mission critical data.

Since the publishing of the Magic Quadrant and the evaluation period we have made significant announcements with our new Zerto for Kubernetes (Z4K), Zerto Backup for SaaS powered by Keepit and the many new capabilities delivered via Zerto 9. All of this and what we are planning to release throughout the year should move our position further up and over in the quadrant. We are excited that our approach to backup and recovery is changing and challenging the more traditional vendors and customers are seeing significant benefits replacing legacy solutions with Zerto.

We’re working in a dynamic, innovative space that is constantly evolving. There was a lot of movement this year – and it’s a reminder to all vendors that they must continue to listen to customers and push the boundaries of their product capabilities to remain well positioned
