Zerto Announces Significant Channel Program Milestones, Launches Partner Training
SURPASSES 250 ZERTO ALLIANCE PARTNER PROGRAM MEMBERS, INTRODUCES NEW PARTNER TRAINING AND RESOURCES
Boston, MA and Herzliya, Israel — Feb. 10, 2014 — Zerto, setting the standard for disaster recovery in virtualized and cloud environments, today announced continued expansion of the Zerto Alliance Partner (ZAP) Program, which is now comprised of more than 250 channel partners worldwide. Driven by intensifying demand and a desire to unburden business continuity and disaster recovery (BC/DR) from the limitations of traditional replication methods, Zerto added 141 partners in 2013, representing a 129 percent increase over 2012. Additionally, Zerto developed two new online training programs to provide partners with on-demand access to educational resources for partner sales and technical teams.
A recent survey of more than 200 partners confirmed that Zerto plays a significant role in channel partner offerings, with more than 73 percent of partners stating that Zerto Virtual Replication is a strategic component of their business offerings. When asked how Zerto could better support partners’ growing businesses, almost 90 percent said they would welcome additional training programs if provided by Zerto.
In response, Zerto is offering two new training programs designed to improve partner sales knowledge in conveying the overall benefits of BC/DR to enterprise customers and verify partner technical expertise in demonstrating and managing Zerto Virtual Replication software:
- Sales training: Zerto Certified Sales (ZCS) Training & Certification: The ZCS course is ideal for any partner who needs to learn the basics of selling and implementing Zerto Virtual Replication software. The course covers market opportunities, the features and benefits of Zerto Virtual Replication and a comprehensive analysis of competitive replication solutions.
- Technical training: Zerto Certified Professional (ZCP) Basic Training & Certification: The ZCP is ideal for Partner Pre and Post Sales Engineers who need to learn how to install, configure and run Zerto Virtual Replication. This program includes step-by-step instructions and simulations on how to perform a live failover, a test failover, a move and a clone.
Both certification courses are currently offered free of charge to Zerto Alliance and Zerto Cloud Ecosystem Partners and are accessible online in the Zerto Partner Portal.
